The Morning bar is an 80% single-origin dark chocolate bar made with 2,000 mg of organic Lion's Mane and Cordyceps mushrooms. Lightly sweetened with coconut sugar. Vegan, gluten-free, and crafted in small batches in Boulder, Colorado.

Lion's Mane, known as yamabushitake in Japan, has centuries of use in traditional Chinese and Japanese food cultures. Cordyceps has been prized in Tibetan and Chinese traditions for centuries. Both are among the most researched functional mushrooms, paired here with single-origin cacao sourced for flavor complexity and ethical traceability.

This chocolate is absolutely divine!!! The sourcing of the chocolate, the quality, the additional functional mushrooms are an added benefit to an already high antioxidant treat! It's super cool that they use a low heating method to preserve the natural antioxidants of the heirloom cacao beans and a better sugar that is not GMO as well. It tastes good, it feels good AND it's good for you? What's not to love!!! Oh, and it's a local Boulder Company working with ethically sourced cacao farms!!! I am a fan!!!

Excellent Theraputic Effects

I was given a sample of the mushroom chocolate with turkey tail, etc., and I had it when I was having some digestive issues after eating something that didn't agree with me. Within minutes, I felt better. So, I was encouraged to order the sampler of all 3 mushroom chocolates, because I could use more energy and I've definitely been having trouble sleeping. Last night, I tried the relaxation (Reishi) one, and I did have a better night's sleep. I am impressed, and I'm so glad my friend introduced me to Moksha Chocolate!

I was lucky enough to discover Moksha a few years ago and have not let myself be out of stock since. Every variety is exceptional quality from the bars to the powders, and my favorite, the functional squares. They are delicious but also actually work- I swear by the Reishi which has an almost instant effect. The owners are also just really great people and they have earned a loyal customer in me.

I discovered Moksha Chocolate at a chocolate tasting I was invited to. I am not addicted to this chocolate. Gree yo near Switzerland so I am used to excellent chocolate and it is always a struggle for me to find good chocolate but I am sold. I love Moksha Chocolate. I cannot say enough great things about this experience! I was looking for something unique and different for a team building event that would last about 90 minutes, and this ended up being the PERFECT choice! The space itself is absolutely adorable, and Jen, the chocolatier, was fantastic. We learned how chocolate is made, but it was done in such a fun and engaging way. The chocolate tasting game was definitely one of the highlights and had everyone laughing and participating.

Another huge plus was being able to bring our own drinks, including beer and wine, which made it feel even more relaxed and social. My entire team absolutely loved the experience!

For a small additional fee, we were also able to have everyone choose their favorite chocolate bar to take home, which was such a fun finishing touch.

This was truly one of the best team building ideas I have found. It was unique, interactive, delicious, and the perfect amount of time. If you are looking for something completely different from the typical team outing, I HIGHLY recommend this. Such a fun experience from beginning to end! Thanks, Jen!
