Our gift sets include six mushrooms across three kinds of chocolate squares: lion's mane and cordyceps in one; turkey tail, maitake, and chaga in another; and reishi in the third. If your set includes Forest Blend™ paste, it adds six functional mushrooms to the ceremonial cacao. Every mushroom is named on the label.

How do I prepare the ceremonial drinking cacao?

Use about 0.5 ounce per cup, either 3 squares of paste or 2 tablespoons of powder. Paste is more concentrated, so heat 1/4 cup of water or milk for paste, or 6 to 8 ounces for powder, until hot but not boiling, about 170 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. Whisk or blend until smooth and frothy, then adjust to taste. The cacao is unsweetened, so add a little honey, maple syrup, or coconut sugar if you like it sweeter.

Does mushroom chocolate have caffeine?

We never add caffeine or coffee. Cacao naturally contains theobromine plus a small amount of naturally occurring caffeine, like any dark chocolate. Darker blends such as Summit Reserve™ (80%) have a little more than Reishi Reserve™ (65%).

Is mushroom chocolate a supplement?

No. Moksha mushroom chocolate is a food: stone-ground, single-origin dark chocolate made with whole organic mushrooms and coconut sugar. No capsules, extracts, or fillers, just a few real ingredients you can taste.

I discovered Moksha Chocolate at a chocolate tasting I was invited to. I am not addicted to this chocolate. Gree yo near Switzerland so I am used to excellent chocolate and it is always a struggle for me to find good chocolate but I am sold. I love Moksha Chocolate. I cannot say enough great things about this experience! I was looking for something unique and different for a team building event that would last about 90 minutes, and this ended up being the PERFECT choice! The space itself is absolutely adorable, and Jen, the chocolatier, was fantastic. We learned how chocolate is made, but it was done in such a fun and engaging way. The chocolate tasting game was definitely one of the highlights and had everyone laughing and participating.

Another huge plus was being able to bring our own drinks, including beer and wine, which made it feel even more relaxed and social. My entire team absolutely loved the experience!

For a small additional fee, we were also able to have everyone choose their favorite chocolate bar to take home, which was such a fun finishing touch.

This was truly one of the best team building ideas I have found. It was unique, interactive, delicious, and the perfect amount of time.
